School Governors have also taken part in PREVENT training.

In June 2015 the Government produced a PREVENT document in relation to protecting children from radicalisation, and the school meets the requirements as set out in the document.

The school has carried out a Risk Assessment and all staff and governors have been trained in the PREVENT Duty. Please use the link below if you are aware of any online terrorism and extremist behaviour that you feel needs reporting.

All our staff have ID badges and all visitors visitors are required to sign in at the main school office using our INVENTORY security system and are given a “Visitors Badge” to wear. Blue ID badges indicate enhanced DBS and photo ID provided. Visitors with a white security badge must be supervised whilst in the building. Signs at the entrance to the school are clearly displayed and visitors can only gain access to the school via the intercom system.
